Covington Community Food Pantry
The Food Pantry is a Benson Chapel United Methodist Church sponsored program. The Food Pantry is open every Wednesday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. It is located in the alley behind 307 Washington Street in Covington, Indiana.
Buddy Bag Ministry
A Buddy Bag is a way to address weekend food hunger among children. A bag of groceries is given to elementary students on Fridays to help them eat over the weekend. The bag will contain enough food for 3 days .
Nursing Home Ministry
Benson Chapel provides a Sunday afternoon worship service once every quarter for the residents of The Waters of Covington Nursing Home.
The congregation also donates gifts for the Bingo Parties on the 3rd Saturday of every month.
